This year will mark the fifth year our church has gathered to do some carolling with patients at the Cairns hospital. Each year, we head over there with some Christmas treats and are blessed by the opportunity to take a moment during the busy Christmas season to think about and connect with those who are unfortunately facing a Christmas in hospital. We’ve had great feedback from these events and many times patients enthusiastically join in with us to sing along as we move from ward to ward. It is also a time to engage in conversations with patients and hopefully bring a little light to their hospital stay and spread the joy and hope of the season. This year we will be meeting on the 22nd December at 6pm.
